From the moment you open the box, you'll
be impressed with this handsome Grundig radio. Wrapped in a sturdy leather
case with a rich patina redolent of saddles and baseball gloves, the silver-colored,
Porsche-designed radio measures a compact 5.5 inches by 3.5 inches, making
it an ideal travel companion. But in spite of its size, this unit doesn't
skimp on features. You can switch between FM, AM, and two short-wave wavebands,
and you have the option of scanning for stations or entering the frequency
directly on a keypad. You can also program up to 20 of your favorite stations
into the radio's memory, then call them up at the touch of a button. Additional
features include an alarm clock (buzzer or radio) that can be set to track
two time zones, and a sleep feature that automatically switches the radio
off after a set time has elapsed. The unit is packaged with a set of high-quality
